Telling Our Parents

Telling Our Parents

One of the biggest signs during this process was the fact that we would be seeing Sam’s dad and my mom in person this month to share the new with them in person! Sam’s dad was coming for a random trip starting Oct. 16 and my mom was getting here on Oct. 21 to celebrate my cancer-versary. The only person we couldn’t tell in person was Sam’s mom.. but don’t worry! Sam couldn’t keep a secret and told her the minute we got off the phone with the RE nurse! I was determined to keep this secret until we saw our family in person. I ordered a shirt for Sam’s dad that said “Great Dads get Promoted to Granddads.” However, we couldn’t keep the secret and the minute he walked in the door, we blurted it out! Sam’s dad is so excited! He has claimed to buy all the large drivable toys and the loudest toys!

My mom on the other hand, I wanted to surprise her because she has been waiting for this moment since the day I was born. Okay, maybe being dramatic, but she is soooo ready to be a Mammy! I tricked my mother into thinking I bought her jewelry from Kendra Scott, but in the bag was actually a onesie, a sign that says Mammy’s house, and sonogram pictures! Below you can see a video of us telling her!

We are ready to bring in the newest generation of Gallozzi’s & Larson’s!
